Ok, profitable, but what's the point of this device?

As per >>55954283 just some plain vanilla AMD rings will give you much higher energy efficiency and thus higher profit.

The only thing that the Bitmain device has maybe going for it is that it would be relatively cheap for 212khs, if it only costs 2800 bucks.

For the same money I can only get half the khs on the used market. Namely 4 full Ryzen 5950x PCs.

That said these PCs would look pretty cool as they used to be all enthusiast PCs . Also they can be used for many more things than just mining Monero and also probably will have much more predictable and stable resell value.

That said the best Monero rig is the hardcore AMD rig that you already have and use for other things than just mining. Then the ability to mine XMR is just a free cherry on top.

Monero might take it all and it would make Banks, VCs and Corporates look ike retards again.

Remember after 2013? Financial institutions tried to jump on the blockchain bandwagon, but their attempts barely made a blip during the 2017/18 bull run. They once said, "Bitcoin is just a proof of blockchain. We'll create our private chains." Clearly, they missed the essence of crypto: a decentralized anti-regulation tool designed for folks with inherent mistrust.

By 2020/21, these institutions ditched their custom solutions and started supporting pre-existing blockchains. Venture capitalists doubled down, pouring funds into start-ups under the guise of decentralized blockchain and Web3 projects.

Imagine the irony if the market champions Monero - the one crypto they least believed in and invested the least in.

Most of the past years they spend just on research since they had to crack some big hurdles in monadic second order logic or something similar. However, for they are now creating the chain and I expect their test net in the next months.

They also release monthly video updates on youtube.com/@TauNetwork
The next update should come out pretty soon.

Good luck fren.
I expect you in the citadel.

>Who do you think it could be? Which crypto has been working with them?

Most arguments against Monero boil down to:
>It works too good, it will be banned and worthless.
>It doesn't work and has inflation, it will will be worthless.
>Price doesn't have momentum, it will be worthless.
My body is ready. Feels like Bitcoin 2011.
