Anon you know with small regular investments you can easily average into the market and in the event of a massive correction you can put that idle cash to use. I mean I don't need to tell you this but sitting in cash for any period of time during this period of inflation and price increases is disastrous unless you were buying appreciating assets or having fun.

I mean you at least treated yourself with that cash right you aren't just hoarding it like a miser waiting for a 99% market correction are you? You do know that with inflation the bottom is no elevated far beyond the loss of 2 years ago right?

So you're saying you can perfectly time the market with absolute accuracy, timing your entrance and exit with absolute precision and certainty. You're going to sit there with diamond hands and while you hold a single region's ETF as it crabs or crashes over the next 5-10 years while other regions blow it to dust.

Let's not even get started on the lost gains waiting for said ETF that is down 46% Max to take off to the moon where that same dollar put into VOO would have outperformed by 380%.
