Markets are pure psychology OP. And their biggest driving factor is always greed. This never changes. Market cycles are the norm and in crypto they tend to be shorter because of how small this space is (relative to trad markets) and due to the 24/7 aspect.

I distinctly remember having a conversation with an online friend a few weeks after the Gox capitulation wick in 2015. I was new to BTC at the time and he was rather pessimistic at the time about its future, especially as the digital cash narrative was starting to show slight cracks by then. He told me he doubted whether BTC would ever go on such a run again. Obviously he was proven wrong.

I think about that conversation every now and again, chiefly to remind myself of what is possible. I can't tell you whether we'll have another 2017 again. Whether we'll see random shitcoins go 1000x in a matter of months again. I for one seriously doubt these 2017 shitcoins will climb again, the ones that are still down -90%. They are the modern day equivalents of Peercoin, old shitcoins with a lot of bagholders. Difference now is 95% of alts are like Peercoin was in early 2017.

I can tell you though that $800B was not the peak of a global, leading edge tech market. BTC will eventually climb to new highs, as will ETH. Normies will come rushing in en masse again once the media cycle begins as BTC crosses $20k. They'll come in even larger numbers than 2017, and they'll likely flood into these new coins and defi stuff, especially things with charts are juicy as Chainlink. They'll make all the same mistakes we did back in 2017.

I've been here for a number of years now and I'm proud of any anons who have made it this far. In my personal, delusional opinion, 2017 was just the test pump. If you're reading this, you will likely make it.
