A few hedge funds will collapse, there are other hedge funds creating long positions against there shorts as well. There will be no global financial crisis. Everything will bleed red for 1 or 2 months.

In no way am I saying that financial institutions can't faulter, they have and will from time to time, but a couple over leveraged bets aren't going to tank everything. This isn't even going to be as bad as 2008. I'd still move your 401K into bonds if you have one for the time being.
