It's funny and all if you bought non-KYC, then yes, you can thumb your nose at the IRS all day and laugh about it. But CEXs send records to the IRS each year, same as stock brokers, and if the IRS discovers you bought crypto or stock and you didn't report it, then they will contact you by mail with a bill that grossly overestimates what you owe, plus a fine, plus a daily compounding penalty that doesn't stop until you respond with your records in full, proving what you owe (likely much less than they claim) and a check that pays that amount plus the penalties.

So, my question remains:

I'm beginning to suspect your a fed desu. Even if you went and got a paper copy of a Form 1040 it would have this question. Form 1040 isn't a unique form made for each person. It's the same form for every single American. You can login to your Turbo Tax or whatever you used, pull up your tax return for the last 2 years and see it. You either lied to the IRS and selected no or your lying to us. Idk if you lied to the IRS, if your crypto is non-KYC then they can go fuck themselves, but if any of your crypto was KYC, then you have given the IRS (with 80k new faggots) a reason to fuck you in the ass.

I don't care if people find ways to skirt taxes, more power to you, but it always amazes me how many anons on /biz/ straight up don't know what is required of them each tax season and will deny it, even in the face of evidence. Makes me suspect many anons are underage b& and just talking out their ass.
