From what I've seen of my friend who's in the military here in the USA:

>Plus side:
Military is incredible for getting easy pussy. Essentially your entire job is based around staying in shape and hitting the town hard on your nights off. You have an unlimited supply of cool bros to hang out with and are put in lots of high test situations, and girls can sense that and want to fuck you.

>Downside:
If you meet someone and want to settle down with them, you're absolutely fucked. You will get cheated on whether you know it or not. Military wives/girlfriends/fiancees are impeccable at cheating and not getting caught. Most of the time the military spouse only finds out because the civilian spouse either becomes incredibly reckless beyond caring, or flat out tells the military spouse out of pity/guilt. Having a long term relationship while in the military seems all but impossible. I'd predict failure of military relationships to be at 90%+.

so yeah I guess it depends how old you are/what you're looking for.
