People say you dont get paid holidays, but i‘m guessing if you negotiate a good contract you can include such expenses into the fees you charge, right?

I‘m having trouble wrapping my head around certain things when being a „selbststaendiger“. Especially the hourly rate you can charge is like 5x-20x higher than being a wage slave? Is this normal? Or does that only work for super high skilled high experience freelancers?
