1 hour : wake up get ready (shower, clothes, food)
1 hour : drive to work
11 hours : non-stop work
1 hour : drive home
1 hour : cook food and take care of chores, walk mom's dog
1 hour : iron and press suit for tomorrow (strict dress code is black tie or better)
8 hours : sleep
repeat 6 days a week

7th day is grocery shopping and other things that need to get done but didn't have time for like put gas in my car, also sleep 12 hours and soak in tub to deal with muscle and joint pain from my sales job


11 hours a day 6 days a week, always on call, deal with customer service issues other people create (most of which could easily be avoided if they didn't lie to them to close the deal), physically move and load over 2000 lb of material on a near daily bases (if not more), commute 2 hours a day in hellish traffic (on some days it is literally faster walking), get fussed at for not meeting sales goals (which very few ever reach, and would be much easier if we had the product we sold, didn't predominantly display discontinued product, or at least knew more about it ("same" product, but different make and manufacturer, I don't know what it will come in as (god help you when you get 6 versions that are all different sizes and colors))), no lunch breaks, can't afford to move out of my parents house. Only making about $100 a month after bills and loan payments, but live in the highest cost of living area in the US. And ... ... ... ... .... ....

So yes I consider myself a wage slave.
In fact I envy some real slaves that I have met, their masters at least feed them better then what I get.
