thanks for the warning

there's a difference between shitposting, and actively spending time spreading misinformation and baseless FUD. It doesn't suppress the price; it's sociopathic, mentally ill behavior that stems from a superiority complex.
No one in a healthy mindset actually tries to FUD anything unironically, which I don't think >>8099184 is doing, because he could've used much more effective FUD pastas if he wanted

>english is not my native language
haha that makes sense, was just being cheeky, not salty.
It really comes down to how many node-operators and how many users the network will gather. It needs to establish a strong network effect before competition catches up.

nice digits.
The divisiveness is mostly contrived. Most of it are holders. Most shills who don't know what they're talking about don't hold LINK, and they're easy to spot. Holders shill it hard, and very well.
The shit-talkers are mostly holders too, and then the best FUDders are the nolinkers who are absolutely sick of the spam (which is mostly done by holders, knowing that it would put most nolinkers off for good).
Only the most autistic /biz/tards hold LINK. You literally have to not give a fuck what anyone thinks of you, including anonymous shitposters. No one will openly admit they believe in this shit except a handful of anons. You just have to trust your research and logic, not someone else's opinion

All I can add is: pic related.
BTC maximalists assumed ETH would be useless because smart contracts would just be added as a feature to the BTC network. It turns out history doesn't follow such a simple linear path.
And if there's one thing history has taught us, is that there will be a variety and diversity of solutions, opinions and development in this space.

So why not bet on the projects like LINK, that not only aims to solve a critical problem, being connectivity and tamper-proofness between the legacy and blockchain world, but also capitalizes on the variety of solutions out there?

It's like you're looking for all the reasons it could fail, when as time goes on, the evidence and trends are pointing in the opposite direction.

Literally search ethereum in warosu around that time. I clearly remember people FUDing it saying it was going back to >$1 when it fell below $10.
I didn't buy in at the time, because I was a brainlet, but don't be fooled. Literally the same pattern is forming again.

That being said, it's always good to debate the weaknesses of LINK. After mainnet launch, it will be driven by the community and node-operators, so the more awareness of the weaknesses, the better.
