I’ve noticed there has been an increase of boomers here on /biz/. How can I tell? I ran an algo (computer program in boomer lingo) and found an increase in frequency of boomer tier advice, stock market discussion and pro wagecuck threads.

Hey /biz/. 2 years out of college and I haven't bothered to apply to a job yet. No internships either.

I spent those 2 years running a WoW guild and learning about programming/finance. I took some programming classes based on the OSSU curriculum.

I've done the Introduction and Core CS sections. Currently working on Core Math.

As for finance, I've read probably 40+ books on the topic, pretty much read everything from Graham, Fisher, and a lot of the other popular books on investing/financial markets like One Up on Wall Street, A Random Walk Down Wall Street, Market Wizards, etc... I've done the Aswath Damodaran MBA classes, MIT lectures (Shiller and Geanakoplos), Martin Shkreli lessons too. Have also started to work on problems from the classic Finance textbooks like Corporate Finance by Brealey, Myers, Marcus and Investments by Bodie, Kane, Marcus.

Anyways, the whole point of learning this stuff was because I love both investing and technology. I'm actually up about 60% these past two years on my portfolio, so I'm definetly outperforming the market so far. Although, even a 60% gain on a few ten thousand isn't shit, and I'm still a poor NEET. I wanna be rich as fuck, whats my best option? Should I try to start a business in tech/fintech? Or maybe get a job in Finance (feel this would be a stretch because nobody wants to hire a 24 y/o who has never had a job), but it would probably supplement my portfolio better.
