Like other anons said, luck, nepotism, exploitation, connections and a rich family/Inheritance, most of the billionaires had rich parents or half a million dollars to start up something like Gates, Musk, Bezos , you don't start something while working for $20 per hour at a shop, 25 day per month.
Sometimes IQ is a reason some people become rich, but that's a small percentage.
