that is a simple ass braindead macd (with default period settings).
over 6,5 years of bitcoin.
as you can see by the blue area it beat the market by a large margin (bitcoin price is gray)
note: its doing both buying and shorting...
if you can do that with default macd settings, what do you think you can do with something more advanced??

using the macd with discipline since decembre 2013 would have yielded massive GAINS of 15558 %

what does this mean? it probably worked better when no one was using the macd to trade bitcoin (which is before in history)
now that every other retard knows about macd and tries to trade using it, it no longer works as expected.

just as there are guys who traded using a simple 10 day EMA or a 14-day RSI in the 80's stock market. this shit will NOT work today.
