I tried posting there once, but got bullied out after somehow being questioned for my diet..

AGI is a protocol, not a computation.

Smart developers.

Picked it up once more and it might actually start to be decent for smart-contracts. Emily mentioned it used to be messy because it was built over the years without long-term planning or something. Although it can still feel that way. We need more multi-chain abstraction, not just for users, but for developers as well. Deploy scripts somewhat fix the boring stuff but it's still hazardous. (For example, scams may publish different source code on different chains to trick users or wallet like Linx, making the whole marketing around "inspectable on-chain code" arguable)
https://github.com/kadena-io/pact/releases
- Fixed some of FV's nonsensical behaviors
- Purged useless module guards, capability guards don't require endless boilerplate anymore
- Gas cost seems more consistent and practical. i.e. (format) used to be completely mismatched with other string operations, and (enforce) second value is now lazy
- etc
Still no information on Pact Core, aside from https://github.com/kadena-io/pact-model which claims " Modeling the Pact core language" but it just seems to implement vanilla Pact and I don't really get it
