Cryptocurrency only has value because of the religious belief in their value. They're entirely based on faith. They're based on the idea that believing in them gives them power, and so the entire basis of their worth is that other people are willing to pay for them.

They're only valuable because other people are willing to pay for them, despite not being a commodity of any inherent value. Despite being nothingness.

Crypto is a cult.
