>Don't want to shit where I eat.
thats actually a pretty descriptive way to describe it, and makes sense.

The restaurant I worked for went out of business. What super important job title can I use that no one will be able to verify?
I'm thinking Chief Executive Cheese Cutter

>Always thinking about what businesses I could start to avoid being a wagecuck such as a convenience store
>Get job at a office in a heavily industrial area
>The nearest convenience store is more than a 40 minute walk
>Office has at least 10 customers walking in and out of it minimum
>At peak hours we have at least 30 to 50 customers waiting, some might have families with them bringing this number to around 100+ people every hour.
>Could easily open shop beside them and hire Pajeet to sell coffee, doughnuts and cigarettes.
>Most of the customers are waiting anywhere from 30 minutes, some up to 4+ hours at a time pacing in and out the building.
It seems like the perfect place, should I do it?

An IRA and CD are unlikely and very unlikely to double in 2-3 years.

An IRA is a collection of stocks and bonds in a portfolio that aims for above 5% to 10%.

A CD rarely goes above 3% and has a fixed rate of return.

Now investing is different. You could double your money overnight but the odds of doing so are not in your favor, unless you do an impressive amount of research or you have insider information. It is far safer to accept the Rule of 72. For example, the rule of 72 states that $1 invested at 10% would take 7.2 years ((72/10) = 7.2) to turn into $2. In reality, a 10% investment will take 7.3 years to double ((1.10^7.3 = 2).

Now if you want to discuss reasonable investing ideas I would be fond of it. Anything shorter than 5 years is not realistic for the vast majority of investors.

Do you think RH will add in pre and after market trading anytime soon?

We could have gotten rich today if they had it available.
