assuming hyperinflation occurs and usd goes to shit, does crypto become a hedge or liability?

The thing I hate most about dips is makes it hard to gloat and lord over nocoiners. Bitcoin is still up massively in the past month and up over 50% over previous 2017 ATH, and I'm still up over 100X from 2015.

but just because there was a retrace to the previous ATH from a few days earlier rubbing salt in the wounds of nocoiners doesn't have the same sting. Pisses me off
