Vitalik and his shitcoin empire was obviously retarded, but with new scammy ICOs being announced every day I did plenty of research to try and learn how everything worked. Why were people buying obvious premines? Holy shit, these shitcoins were getting traded at insane listing multiples from their ICO prices! And Eth, which had been a $12 shitcoin forever was starting to go parabolic! I finally went all-in in May 2017, maxxing out my credit cards to buy a pathetic four-figure sum of eth ~$80/ea. Converted all my old Doge, Litecoin and Potcoin into eth too (the week before Dennis Rodman wore a potcoin shirt to North Korea goddamn). I tried to flip this eth into what I as many of what I considered quality ICOs as possible, but the game was changing quickly as people greedily piled in. I bought the Aragon ICO, and jumped for joy when I sold it for a 70% gain! Then I watched it 5x after and facepalmed. After that, I either got into or bought CVC, TNT, DNT, NMR, OMG and others I can’t even remember.

dude you dont understand this, do you? It is not about selling, it is about the whales shorting it, in order to buy more. They dont have to sell... they just short, with stop loss at certain prices, in order to manipulate the market. If you short x1, you just made a hedge against it falling even more. Besides it doesnt matter if you have a shit ton of BTC and just use a small portion to short.
