part of the adoption issue for block chain as a payment form is that confirmations can take ages. just imagine all of the times you have transferred coins to an exchange and it took ages to come through. frustrating and we are people who understand the system.

so could a smart contract solve this? could you have preloaded digital wallets and pay directly with it to a person and they see the confirmation and can on their end know they can approve the service/sale because it is guaranteed by the contract. is this a thing?
