A system of law and a system of economics are not consistent with each other, and both cannot exist. The fact we have tried to mesh both systems is ripping our societies apart. It creates double standards, and those double standards create inefficiencies and inconsistencies in the form of, almost ironically, consistent corruption, theft, and death.

Economics is a system of individual governance by relationship. YOU and YOUR social clout in the form of money decide how to govern YOURSELF. If a former thief wishes to loan and lend money the counterparty must decide with THEIR money whether THEY accept YOUR offer.

A system of laws is a system of social governance. WE and OUR social cohesion decide how to govern OURSELVES. if a former thief wishes to borrow and lend money with a counterparty, WE decide if people such as US are allowed to loan and lend money.

These systems are inconsistent. You must take charge of your life when it suits society to label you an individual, such as finding housing and food and security, but when you are in the social minority it favors society to label you as a social group, such as when determining how much food or land or security people like you owe everyone else.
