Forgot pic related. A lot of world coins show the inflation throught the years, many changing suspiciously around the time when the dollar took out silver and when gold was no longer the backing. Also I'd like to point out how even slips of paper promising metal can still be worrisome on account that they can still be printed once the federal reserve funny hat non frens figure out thay not everyone would take delivery of the metals, causing a fractional reserve once again, though the step away from fiat may require this before a sound money comes into place, for the coinage and bullion is the real money while the paper is just an iou. Funny enough I saw dumb and dumber recently, and could not help but laugh out loud when the brief case full of money is filled with nothing but IOU's. Hey, just as good thonamirite?
