BIS guidelines were that banks can only hold certain crypto assets, and only up to 2%, and only if every single dollar of crytoassets is collateralised 1 to 1 with fiat.
Oh, and the "Certain crypto assets" were defined in a way, like needing to have an ETF as a baseline, that meant that literally zero current crypto assets passed.
The BIS is profoundly resistant to all of this. Banks have sat comfy as fuck for decades, they were happily making sure that Fintech could never get big enough to take any meaningful share.
Then all of this shit happens, the largest structural threat to global banking in more than a generation. The open sourcing of money, money creation, money transmission, value representation, all blown onto a global stage too big and fluid for them to control.
Imagine if the world was run by mall owners when the internet blew up. Imagine how they would have responded to online business. That's what's happening now, because the banks are part of the political/financial/media/military industrial complex.

Here's the thing about buying Chainlink (ticker: LINK).
Buying Chainlink is essentially placing a long on the idea that people who say they are "into crypto" will actually come to understand what crypto is, why it is important, and what parts of it are profitable.
In buying LINK you are basically longing retail bothering to educate themselves, to dig deep and to learn.
That's why it's the worst investment on the planet.
