When I was 16 or 17 I told my girlfriend at the time that I'd become rich so she could comfortably be a stay at home mother. We broke up, and we haven't spoken in years.
I doubt she even remembers that conversation now; it's about 10 years later. But for some reason, the memory keeps coming back to me from time to time.

Does anyone else any memories or feels like this related to money?

I'm 26 and will be able to "lean FIRE" in 3-5 years I expect. But I'm not sure if I'll actually take the plunge when I get there.

But tbqh I can do most I want of that now while still working 35 hours per week.
