I admit phone photography is not my strong point, but I'm not ready to accept orientation goes with exif. Pic related, there is no obvious info about orientation displayed in Windows.
Windows does have a "rotate" option in the files' properties. If you edit a 'rotated' image with Paint, it will look as windows has rotated it. But if you view it with a no-native app such as ACDSee, it will display the array as it truly is.
