While there's good information in that article, that doesn't address the issue >>23777579. The article you linked is about Chris Giancarlo and FTC classification. The latest round of discussion has been about Gary Gensler, former Obama official, who has made statements about XRP being a security. So while I appreciate Giancarlo's comments and his former position, he holds now institutional power within the USG and I haven't heard anything about him being nominated for anything. Gensler, however, has been tapped by Biden to be part of his administration.

Gensler and his statements are what's important at this moment, I think.
