"Making it" for most of /biz/ is like 1 million dollars. That's not actually 'making it' because 1 million, assuming it moves with inflation, is only 3 million in 40 years. That's about the same a boomer couple that prepared for retirement from the 1980s to present might have. That's not making it, that's just having a license to be a NEET.

If I suddenly got handed a million bucks I'd work on turning it into 10 million and 10 million into 100 million.
