Human psychology. We are entering the "defiant optimism" phase where reality denial is exercised to avoid fatigue. Everyone is sick of looking at the numbers going down so they are forcing them up, despite the fact that the economic impact hasn't even arrived yet. There might be another dive, there might not. What you can expect eventually is a slow failing climb as reality sets in and the bad news keeps trickling in over the next 12 months. We cannot just start back up again in a few months. Massive damage has occurred, the supply disruption hasn't hit hard yet, and earnings are going to be fucked for at least a few years while consumers and businesses recover. The bottom comes in 2021! Take a nap if you don't want to day trade in a slow-bouncing crab market
