Also, gex looks like there's decent support, so no dramatic selloff should occur, if my understanding of this is somewhat right. I think it means the big money is decently hedged, or that dips will likely be bought.

ME oil is not irrelevant. And notice that it is in the US, Saudi, Russia, and Iran self interest to keep oil from falling too far.

That said, I think I bought the USOI too soon. When Warren finally announces how bad she did with donations this time around, that could kick energy stocks down again. If she is the nominee though, that would really be a boost to energy stocks. Banning shale fracking would cause the natty to absolutely moon.
