I don't even know why I invest in this roach asset class anymore. All of the serious money I've made has been through stocks and traditional derivatives / contracts. I got into crypto because I wanted 24/7 market access and insane, irrational volatility but I wound up marrying my position. I thought about it last night and realized I was unironically le Long Term Hodling this dogshit internet scam money, and pre-empting some crazy future growth because it made some 2012 era pedos / internet drug dealers rich and that sets a precedent for the future somehow.

I was losing it this morning watching tech stocks crank into the sky while most of my exposure was in digital funny money (which immediately scam-wicked down into hell after market close, go figure).

I enjoy cars because I can go wherever I want, whenever I want, without having to share public transportation with murderers, rapists, public masturbators, shit-eating schizophrenics, and confrontational subhumans that blast trap music on dollar store speakers purely to start fights. People are awful. People are so fucking horrible that they sacrifice in countless ways to not be around each other. Where good people exist, many multiples of others swarm to them and the good is destroyed, and no one is surprised because no one hates people more than people. Why the fuck would I give up a metal autonomy pod that can take me anywhere I want at hundreds of miles an hour like fucking magic to be closer to vile, hostile shit?

Comp E here with an emphasis in electrical (was gonna double major but didn't take EMag).
I've gotten a ton of messages from recruiters but it's usually "Hey anon, happy to see your profile! Would you be interested in interviewing for <industrial company> in <tittyfuck arkansas>?" and when I check the salary on glassdoor it's like 75k for a Level II EE. Shit's atrocious. Sometimes it's ~60k which is fucking insulting for an engineering position.
