I think you forgot the Golden Rule of American government: Protect the super-wealthy. And the super-wealthy have way too much money invested in corporations for the government to allow those corporations to fail. They will get bailed out, their stocks will go back up, and as soon as this epidemic is over, the economy's going to rebound. Yes, it probably won't rebound to where it was just before the stock market crash, because we were kind of in a bubble there, but it will rebound.

I don't know about you, but I'm investing my money in the travel industry and brick-and-mortar companies. I'm staying away from fad cryptocurrencies like chainlink. Think about it. If everyone's buying up thousands of chainlink coins, its value won't skyrocket, because everyone will have thousands of them, thus reducing scarcity. You guys need a lesson in basic economics.

Brick-and-mortar companies will go back up. We're not going to have an isolation-driven economy as some people say. I've looked at the numbers and Coronavirus is showing signs of slowing down. It will be gone within a month, I can assure you, and I'm gonna be laughing then. Besides, people aren't going to stay cooped up in their homes forever because face-to-face interaction is a basic fucking human need. Study psychology, study Maslow's hierarchy of needs. You people are so ignorant, and you're missing basic facts that invalidate all your doomsday theories.

tl;dr Having an "end of the world" mentality never solved anything. Bear markets always go back up, and you doomsayers are missing a valuable opportunity to profit off this recession.

I don't really care if anyone reads this. I'm glad people are panicking, because I'm making money off it. I just wanted to vent, because I thought /biz/fags of all people would know better.
