Tell me why everytime I check on the internet, silverbugs are a combination of schizo tinfoils, doomsday preppers, or recession fear-mongers?

I hold several ounces of silver coins thanks to birthday gifts. But Every now and then I would see this people shill something like its the end of the world. The only people who do make money are usually the people shilling their affiliate links to a bullion producer or some coin shop online.
