Alright /biz/, me and my friends are making a game and have no idea how marketing works. The game is about 3 months from completion and we don't even know where to turn, so we're leaving it up to you. Where the fuck do we go to make sure this thing doesn't fall flat on it's face?

I've been thinking about side hustles to make some extra cash on top of my full time job, and am currently exploring Youtube as an avenue for this. I'm thinking about making a channel that has tutorials on how to solve problems from math-based university courses.

My question is what sort of copyright hurdles will I have to deal with? I'm not too familiar with how this stuff works and simply browsing the ToS on Youtube doesn't help too much.

If I were to solve problems from courses that I had taken previously, I would be using examples that come from problem sets either given to me by a teacher, or from a textbook that I had purchased. Would I need to mail and ask for explicit permission from both these sources to solve their problems on a monetized youtube channel, or is that a bit of a stretch?

Also, if I were to use some sort of digital note-taking software to record my solutions and put them into video format, do I need permissions to use that in videos as well?

Hopefully these questions aren't too retarded, I'm hoping that I can get some good opinions here while I try to find answers on Google. If you guys can think of any other concerns I should look into, let me know.
