Linux has all the best tools and programs and you can still use some windows apps as well and also you can use another hard drive for your windows or dual boot if you reall need to play games.

Also command line is way superior than naviagting endless mazes of clickable menus. if you have a problem in linux, which is much rarer than windows or apple, all you have to do is google it and then copy paste into your command line.

Go for arch linux if you are not a pussy and can spare a few hours learning and reading a wiki set of instruction. And install awesome wm and rice the shit out of it for comfy cyberpunk feels. Once you use linux you will appreciate the possibilities of decentralized and mutually beneficial production.
