A stock market is only sustainable if you are interesting at least two million dollars. Day trading is possibly the best way how to make it. The only thing that would yield a lot that only takes couple of days from your month is being on a company board with a lot of equity. You can do bi-weekly board meetings at 10 startups and still get away with at least 5M in stock, that is all tax free income. It doesn't matter if a company is doing bad or good you will still get paid.
