I'm lost, and I'm not sure which field I should be in. I enjoy finance and IT work but refuse to work in a cubicle for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any job recommendations that actually allow some freedom? A job that pays well and doesnt confine me to a wage cage?

I don't know what to do, with my life, but I really have 3 options I can do right now, not sure which is best financially speaking. Im gonna be a sophomore in college next year. For some background I live in Michigan and the last 3 generations of my family have all been happily employed by the big 3 auto companies (fuck you stellantis). Im not sure if I should switch my major because taking out a variable interest rate student loan during a high interest rate period is very unattractive
Option 1
>Continue my finance major
>have enough to pay for second year of college
>3rd year I will probably have enough by the time I reach it
>Hopefully I can get a decent internship after 2nd/3rd year of college to pay for 4th, if not I get a loan
>pursue career as likely underwriter, loan officer, or financial advising

>switch to electrical engineering major (what really interests me)

Anons...last thread started shitty, but ended really well. I was so entertained I read through every message, even the copypastas ive already seen. lets keep it that way.
Also, have you noticed people in general are just...different? This last month especially. I've noticed alot of people are having complete lapses in judgement/character/memory, more and more often.
The people around me are saying and doing things that go completely against their personality. More people are trying to solve simple problems with obvious solutions, but instead come up with complex solutions that take a long time, or just come up with really...stupid ideas. People I've known for years are just having these episodes where they just act in ways they never have, not always bad, just in ways I have never seen them do before. I've noticed a huge increase of retards driving cars too...just slowing down or even completely stopping in the middle of the road when there are no turns or speed limit changes, driving straight through perpendicular traffic, etc. I've noticed alot of people having complete lapses in memory, just this morning, my mom saw a lottery ticket I left on my nightstand that I won (I always buy a $1 scratch once a week, I've noticed good things happen to me on the weeks I win, even if its just a $1-5 prize, ive never won big) and my mom completely lost her shit. She started asking me where/how I got it, saying I can't have them. I asked why and she said im not old enough. She legitimately thought I was 17 (im almost 20). Everyone around me is getting like this...work, home, social events, just random people I bump into, I've even noticed it in myself a bit. before you ask, I am not a vaxxie, nor are my parents, I guess I can't speak for other people though.
