I have a great case-study for you all. I went to a BTC meetup recently, the first meetup I had ever gone to. It was organized by a woman and drew about 80% normans and 20% legit megabrains. It was easy to find the people I was looking for, and very entertaining to watch the rest flounder around in ecstasy because prices at the time were euphoric. On the last meetup I went to, one of the women had, on recommendation of the organizer, "bought her first bitcoin". at 18k. This was the same day that they all gathered around to watch Justin Sun do a livestream(from his apartment) right before TRX crashed(I was looking at the Tron orderbook and knew it was about to get dumped).

If anything, encouraging people to get into crypto who don't have the determination to do it themselves is unethical, and a great way to turn people off to the market entirely because "someone gave me bad advice". So, aggressively shilling crypto to women and PoC is unironically the best way to keep them out because they will inevitably get burned and sell the bottom, then go write a Buzzfeed article about how bitcoin is going to zero and not to listen to white nerds advice.
