Gentlemen, unless bitcoin walks back down to $34k tomorrow, my BITO leaps are going to print. And they are going to continue to print for the foreseeable future.
Oil, natgas, military industrial complex, tech, treasuries ... maybe they go up here, maybe they go down there. Its anyone's guess day to day.
But be honest now. You know bitcoin is the only guaranteed bullish play for the next 18 months.

RIOT and MARA theory
On news that many BTC ETFs were applying w/ the SEC, both of these miners shot up almost 100%. Since then, they've cooled off a bit, but really took a nose dive the last two days.
MMs in the know are shorting because they know the upcoming BTC ETF decision will get punted by the SEC - likely until 2024 when they're required to shit or get off the pot. Its basically free money. My theory is to short with them, all the way down to the high single digits. Maybe bail out at 10 or 11, depending on how it looks.
All gaps must be filled.

based on hobby or business. 2/2

Whether the taxpayer and their advisors have the knowledge needed to carry out the activity as a successful business.
>> Advisors? the only advisors I am concerned with is my Tax Guy.
>> You gotta have a guy. Fuck you IRS - this is not "my Cousin Vinny the CPA" this is a legitimate licensed professional
>> .... if you cry over the $500-1000 they will charge,....
>> Exactly.

Whether the taxpayer was successful in making a profit in similar activities in the past.

Whether the activity makes a profit in some years and how much profit it makes.

Whether the taxpayers can expect to make a future profit from the appreciation of the assets used in the activity.

>> I am combining these
>> once again subjective.
>> Bottom Line:
>> You want to make a profit OP? ...right?

I don't know at all if a m/a will happen or a ch7 or ch11, and I don't know when all of those unknowns might happen, so its a straight gamble. People claim they know, but they don't. Nobody knows except the ones that know, and they ain't talking.
What I do know is what an asymmetric trade is. I can short and if ch7 happens I earn around $2.75 a share. If m/a happens tho, I can lose several x that $2.75/share.
Or I can long and at most I'll lose $2.75/share if ch7 happens. But if m/a happens and a squeeze follows, I'll earn a huge multiple on my gamble.
The choice is clear:
Best option - long
2nd option - do nothing
Worst option - short
