Yeah I bought the AVAX ICO from two profiles, 100k AVAX for $50k. Patience, forget about high caps, and only buy forgotten coins that are about to launch a mainnet and get listed, and promising ICOs during bear markets. Such as now.

If you want to feel some of the local culture, probably around the Creek, or Bur or Deira. I prefer to live like a suburban burger, but I communicate a lot with locals and with poorer immigrants from Pakistan / Sri Lanka. I've even gone calamari hunting with some of them on the beach next to Viceroy/The Five on Palm Jumeirah kek.
Also if you are into more ... esoteric teachings and spirituality, a lot of the sufi/muslim scholars gather in the Emirates for some of their practices.
