You're right, it's not comparable in the sense that the average pro athlete in the US makes much more money than the average streamer/social media influencer. And if you need a different kind of example, look at how the majority of lottery winners go broke after 4-5 years. There is a reoccurring theme here. People who don't know how to manage money, are prone to losing it. Young people in the US do not know how to handle their own finances. It's not really taught in schools, and my boomer parents certainly didn't teach me. Look at the surge in shit like "adulting" classes popping up in US universities if you don't believe me. You think these zoomers know how to organize a budget and stick to it? Then we just have to look at the reality that only an extremely small percentage of streamers/social media influences are actually making money that would have them "set for life" once they retired, especially if they're a social media influencer, and they want to maintain a trendy, luxurious lifestyle that many of those types seem to try to live. A good portion of these select few will fall into the same traps as the athletes, musicians, movie stars and lottery winners that came before them. Now lets specifically examine the e-thot phenomena. In today's market, I'm sure there's a good number of girls making a comfortable living (high 5 figures, low 6 figures) by being a full time titty streamer, social media influencer or camgirl. But what happens when these girls start getting older? I'm sure some refined MILFs will carve out a nice niche, but most of these girls are going to get chewed up and spit out by their coomer audiences after they hit 30. And then they're going to be left with no source of income, a huge gap in their employment history, and no employable skills. What happens after this? I'll tell you what happens. Suicide.
