From my piss poor understanding...please correct me if I'm wrong...isn't a brokers' AUM determined by their client's assets? And isn't their AUM their effective liquidity? So if brokers are on the hook for naked shorts of shares...and clients hold IOU's for those shares...and those shares are exploding in value...why would a broker ever remove a client's synthetic share since that would increase their AUM and therefore what they can pay back? Why would they forcefully sell shares early if some shares out there will keep squeezing since that means how much they owe will rise but not how much they can pay? I'm a dumb, or is there literally no reason for a broker to magically bankrupt and forcefully sell shares? Wouldn't they just be on the hook for the obligation of acting since otherwise their balance books are correct ONLY if they don't rug their clients?

Or am I retarded?

It's funny how liberals and journos were screeching and crying about much populism when trump got into power and bongs voted for Brexit. Now the dems are actually carrying out populism, the EU is crying about bongs handling the vaccines better than they are. 100% they will blame trump for a crash. Both parties are essentially the same thing but anyone who votes democrat or believes the EU is a good governance body is a massive retard.

What's the dirtiest, most evil oil company in the world? Thinking along the lines of one that destroys natural ecosystems and bulldozes Indian burial sites. War profiteering and shady legal practices are a bonus too.

A saw an EE anon mentioning it in a previous thread that they are developing new lithography tech. Very cheap at the moment or is this company just irrelevant compared to ASML and TOELY?

It being legal tender in the biggest and most powerful economy in the world and the USD being used as the defacto world currency for all and any transactions world wide. Forex only exists to buy and sell dollars.

The USD is accepted in any part of the world for any sort of transaction. At any given point. The US government, it's powerful economy and companies like Microsoft rivalling the power of a few mid sized nations on their own guarantee the total dominance of the US of D.

Meanwhile Bitcoin is used for nothing but buying drugs.

>I think it's a much better measurement of inflation then say a carefully crafted basket of goods that just get cheaper every year and that are mostly subsidized I mean fuck
That's still not inflation, which is defined as the price level of a basket of goods and services over time.

I'm not even arguing what measures the value of a currency better, I'm just saying that inflation is

Well, I'm out.
This is going down. I should have sold when it became a political stock and no longer about numbers. I didn't and that was a greedy mistake.

Happens though.
Don't invest in China. It's not worth it. We all get burned there.
