None of them compare to Monero.

Bottom line is that the darknet is currently phasing out Bitcoin in favor of Monero and only Monero.

Zcash and Dash are basically punchlines to darknet veterans/OPSEC fags.

>The fucking joke that is PIVX and those pirate fags are already trying to get into XMR's space. They have better marketing and understand that price absolutely does matter.

Marketing and hype don't mean shit to the darknet community, their freedom is literally on the line so they NEED to get it right. And Monero is still the only coin that gets the Darknet Seal of Approval, which is a HUGE selling point no other coin can flaunt.

The darknet crowd recommends XMR and only XMR, and for good reason.

Monero has a more secure future.

Zcash and Dash have zero traction on the darknet, and for good reason.

>Im betting on zec more than xmr. Zec still has a way to its ath and im betting it will demolish it in the upcoming months. 200 stack bagholder from early 2019, selling at at least $400

Corporate shilling will only get it so far, to really make it ZEC will have to convince the darknet community and thus also the criminal underworld that it is superior to XMR, which isn't happening.

>Can someone explain why monero is better than zcash? I hold both but I like zcash as you can buy/sell it on more exchanges so it's more convenient to actually use.

Zcash's privacy isn't good enough to warrant darknet adoption, therefore Monero is still the better option.

>Can you prove those are better than the SNARK based privacy? As far as I know both are basically unbreakable with current technology.

In theory Zk-STARKs are superior BUT this hasn't been practically established yet, which is why the XMR devs are holding off on adopting. But if it ever becomes the gold standard of privacy Monero will be using it, such are the befits of regular hard forks, you can always up-to-date with tech evolution.

BTW:

>Something similar has already been implemented in the Zcash (ZEC) blockchain, where the information about a sender and a recipient of the transaction, as well as its value, is hidden. However, unlike ZEC, the first version of Aztec launched on Ethereum does not hide the addresses of the recipient and sender — at least for now.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/aztec-at-its-core-a-solution-to-make-ethereum-transactions-anonymous

So its less private than Zcash and Zcash is already unreliable. Gonna have to do much better than that to dethrone the king.
