Thanks for making this thread, I've been wondering this myself for weeks now. I'm thinking about making my own standing desk. I'm going crazy sitting all the time. When I've looked for standing desks, they're either, too expensive, or too short.

Right now my plan is pic related. If you look up on YouTube 'diy pipe desk' you'll find videos on how to make a desk like this. My only question is, in all the videos the people connect the desk legs. They buy all these smaller faggy parts to connect the legs in complicated ways. Do I have to do that? What does that even do, stabilize it better? I just want a no nonsense desk. Buying those extra prices adds like a hundred dollars. Does anyone with experience with diy see anything that could go wrong with my design? I was thinking of posting this on diy but saw this thread here first.
