Between that and rumors of having a hard time finding an opposite party for swaps that finish expiring in January, I would imagine the shorting will be extreme in the coming month. Especially since GME is doing something with their cash on hand which means they don't have as much buying power to disincentivize trying to force the price down which is what's ultimately keeping an all-out kitchen sink throw to attempt to get it low enough to cover without being prolapsed.
