yes, risk-adjusted returns are such an adventure. i bet they are screaming with joy at their bullshit life filled with erectile dysfunction, ungrateful children and mindless materialism.
the only one who does the fucking is the super organism.

it's a trade. he doesn't know if he's right. nobody does, but he he's seeing a chance, and a close stop with a profitable target - > asymmetric risk-reward ratio ... meaning that if he does this shit often enough he comes out on top. big times.
seriously, if you don't know this shit why are you even on this board?

Student loan payments and interest have been in forbearance since March 2020 and are set to unfreeze August 31st.

I am one of the fools who has continued to pay down student loans regardless. I recently called my student loan servicer and the guy on the line was in absolutely shocked, completely in disbelief that not only was my information up to date, but that my account was actively being paid. It occurred to me that most student loan badholder corporations have not only not received payment for over two years, but that most of them don't even have enough of their loanholder's information to demand payment if they could.

Are they even able to make people pay these? For the government I doubt not renewing the forbearance would be viable considering how badly poorfag budgets have been destroyed by inflation and how much political backlash would occur. Is the future just frozen repayments perpetually?

There's only so much a small cap REIT with a lot of debt can do in this sort of environment to prepare. Going up slightly during a retracement with the whole index doesn't mean much. If you really feel confident in them for some reason, only pick up a tiny bit.

Don't get baited by finance, REIT, and energy divvies unless you've done your homework on the specific company and know they're resilient enough to stay alive and keep paying.
