This is spoken as if the CIA hasn’t spent 60 years and billions of dollars focused just on social engineering the American public by staging discourse with manipulated media. As much as the redditors are blind lemmings with paper-thin superfluous capeshit morals, there is merit in the criticism of an increasingly corporatist America being hollowed out and commodified by certain “””fringe characters””” with disproportionate levels of power and wealth compared with their representation.
The reality of the situation is the reality of the spectacle. It doesn’t matter what you do, say, think, or act: you’re just playing within the framework of the greater movers and the reality they carefully indoctrinated you to fully accept. It’s like a lab rat speaking out against the injustice of being removed from the maze that it was determined to solve and receive a reward from, social change never occurs unless it’s given the OK.
To claim that everything (whether the election, COVID, BLM) all occurs at face value is arguably more foolish than some redditors thinking they’re actually sticking it to Wall Street by pumping millions of dollars into the system.
There’s two useful opinions within this paradigm: pure ignorance, pure delusion, and nothing in between.
