Hate the hedgies? You're making them rich anyway: they've already repositioned themselves to get rich off your retardedness. Just like how Tom Parker, Elvis' manager, made a ton of money from haters by selling "I Hate Elvis" merch.

>The Wall Street Journal reported that by the end of 1957, Elvis merchandise had grossed over $22 million dollars.

>By 1962, Colonel Parker's share of that booty would become an eye-popping 50%.

>His most ingenious product, though, was "I Hate Elvis" buttons. The Colonel even made money from people who despised his hip-swivelling star.

The report identified at least 14 types of online gambling payment methods, which include mainstream apps such as Alipay and UnionPay but also virtual currencies such as Tether (USDT). The latter is increasingly living up/down to its local reputation as an emerging ‘crime coin,’ which has prompted Chinese authorities to shine an increasingly bright spotlight on its users.

A couple weeks ago, Chinese media outlet Caixin reported that the Tether-based processor busted last September relied on the Seychelles-based Huobi crypto exchange to ‘wash’ its gambling transactions. The Ministry of Public Security ordered the Huobi exchange and other USDT-friendly platforms to add video identity verification of customers making transactions to ensure their faces matched those on their bank cards, but these platforms have reportedly been slow to comply.

There's no such thing as a free lunch: giving out 8-50% interest on a non-income generating asset must have a catch somewhere. I wonder where the catch is, and how do i benefit from its eventual collapse?

>Most of their income comes from transaction dust, so they need a surge in volume to make up the shortfall

>"I know, let's pump it all the way to the last ATH, that'll make everyone come flooding back!"
>"Great idea, let's do it!"

>ATH is hit, volume surges for only one day and collapses back again
>People start cashing out instead

>"Maybe we need to really push the idea of a bullrun... the previous ATH is not good enough."
>"How about.... exactly 150% of the last ATH? That'll make the normies FOMO back in for sure!"

>150% of ATH is hit, volume barely moves
>More bagholders start cashing out instead

>"Uh. What's Arthur doing nowadays?"
>"Shilling shitcoins and eating indonesian food in a third world country."
>"Well, Bali ain't so bad. The US is a shithole anyway."
