And last week it was $200 and now it's $260, a few days ago it was $303, a year ago today it was $13. There's no argument to be had on the grounds that the price is erratic, look at the long term trends.

The next big milestone is Metropolis going live, which is right around the corner. If it has even a quarter the impact on price that we saw in June, that's $1,170 ETH. If it had the same impact (unlikely), that's $4,680 ETH.
