but now I'm not too sure

crypto is considered toxic and a joke to 95% of people; they've realized they're already outpriced in eth and btc and don't want anything to do with it. the supposed 'applications' are a joke to anyone able to think.

the remaining 5% don't want to research, they might lazily cling on to some tokens promising to be the next moonshot, but people have gotten smarter. unless there's another scam promise like the metaverse/nfts, i really can't imagine what's the next big thing for the average normie getting into crypto. most have realized crypto is just the greater fool theory at this point
