The statement that you think this is somehow a "pain in the ass" to do this just shows, that you have no experience with this. Feel free to try it out yourself and you will see, that if anything, it is even faster to start losing money on this, because you can completely skip the step fiat --> crypto.

Btw.: it was the lack of regulation that led to the subprime crisis (and the normfags losing money en masse) in 2009, which in the end led to Nakamoto creating Bitcoin. Just because Nakamoto was somehow inconsistent on his views does not mean that you should disregard reality on this.
