Wrong, i would bet more on Urza/tempest/mirage blocks, the old ratio 1/100 foils pre torment, the good ol' ARN/LGD/TDK/ATQ.
Alpha & beta are alrdy overevaluated, and look like shit, only the scarcity keep the price so high, but the nostalgia will hit mostly on later sets from revised to RTR, where the game really started to gain traction and players. No one gib a fuck about alpha, it's just that now the boomers who are nostalgic from these sets are old and rich enough to pay the price. It will be the same factor delayed by few years for the Urza block, which are simply better sets, with better looking arts and better mechanics and more needed for all formats. Alpha most valuables cards are banned everywhere and look like shit.

Yeah we got one guy posting the 8th batch serie on /mmg/, he got spotted after 5 sec at the table and was forced to mark his cards as fakes or face a ban from the shop kek, he was kinda buttblasted about the presumed "quality" of stinky chink shit, you should try to convince him. Moreover i really think the fakes are helping the real cars to gain value, and i'm 99% sure chinks really don't want to make real-passable cards even if they could (which they can't), it would kill their marketshare. Waiting for the chink singularity i'll stockpile the neobitcoin ;)
