Partially. The real question is how much higher above the flood level of olden times, is the arm of the lake where you think the gold is. Obviously anyone burying anything is going to put it above the high water mark, but how much of the old high water mark of the river is currently exposed? 5 minutes of looking at topo maps didn't answer the question.
